TMA Special Purpose Vehicle Monitoring Schemes (QLD)
About the schemes
Transport operators of eligible special purpose vehicles (SPV) can operate on approved SPV networks in Queensland under an applicable instrument of access approval, which is a Class 1 permit issued by the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR).
One of the conditions of access to the networks is telematics monitoring of SPVs under the Telematics Monitoring Application (TMA).
SPV Monitoring schemes are made available by the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), Queensland.
The TMA SPV Monitoring Schemes (QLD) available to be enrolled in are:
- TMA Crane SPV Monitoring Scheme (QLD)
- TMA Non-Crane SPV Monitoring Scheme (QLD).
Refer to the TMR website for more information on Queensland’s SPV road networks.
Refer to the TMA SPV Monitoring Schemes (QLD) document for more information on the schemes.
