Transport Certification Australia has released new one-pager summaries of new, existing and proposed applications and features of the National Telematics Framework guiding the future of road transport.

Adoption of the National Telematics Framework has positioned Australia as a leader in the delivery of transport technology services through telematics applications and features.

In November 2018, Transport Certification Australia presented to the Transport and Infrastructure Council 16 ministerially-approved initiatives that proposed to:

  • Enhance the IAP application and improve its efficiency and cost
  • Design and implement new applications and features of the National Telematics Framework, including the Road Infrastructure Management (RIM) application and Telematics Monitoring Application (formerly known as IAP Lite).
