Security Question:
Transport Certification Australia's acronym is? - Hint: TCA
Corporate Statement

TCA provides assurance in the use of information, communication and sensor solutions and a capability comprising of three vital and complementary elements:

Advice – founded on a demonstrated capability to design and deploy operational systems as enablers for reform

Accreditation – in the type-approval and certification of telematics and intelligent technologies and services that give confidence to all stakeholders for their consideration of use

Administration – of programs, such as the Intelligent Access Program (IAP).

Innovation and reform requires more than new ideas. It requires bringing these new ideas to the marketplace. TCA has achieved the market placement of the IAP in a commercialised and sustainable manner.

Strategic Initiatives

TCA has identified a number of Key Result Area's (KRA's) as being critical to its success and the realisation of the vision and mission;

  • Provide stakeholders value with a fit-for-purpose IAP (i.e. Product that works today and tomorrow)
  • Meet stakeholder needs and expectations in the operation of the IAP (i.e. Effective stakeholder relationships)
  • Influence and encourage cultural and behavioural change in the adoption of vehicle telematics (i.e. Achieve business success)
  • Enhance TCA's value to Members, and other stakeholders, growing its business appropriately and efficiently (i.e. Develop future opportunities for TCA)
  • Maintain a positive work environment and align investment and human capital to the vision (i.e. Maintain sound organisational culture)
