Specific Intelligent Access Program Applications
Transport Certification Australia administers the IAP and certifies IAP Service Providers, while the actual establishment and operation of specific IAP Applications are managed by jurisdictions.
TCA is working closely with each jurisdiction to ensure transport operators are aware of all the specific IAP Applications that are available. A summary of each IAP Application is listed below. The list will be updated as jurisdictions develop their IAP Applications.

Higher Mass Limits - Road and Traffic Authority (RTA), New South Wales 
The RTA will offer transport operators the benefit of improved access arrangements if enrolled under the IAP. The first application of the IAP in New South Wales will be to monitor the compliance of vehicles operating at Higher Mass Limits (HML). The New South Wales Government will expand the HML network in New South Wales in stages from 1 July 2006, providing a significant increase in the economic utilisation of the road network.
