Intelligent Access Program Auditors
To ensure that the Intelligent Access Program (IAP) is consistently implemented and adapted by IAP Service Providers, Transport Certification Australia (TCA) will audit IAP Service Providers' adherence to the requirements of the TCA/IAP Service Provider Certification Agreement. TCA may conduct such audits itself using employees and consultants to assist it or engage from time to time external parties as IAP Auditors to act on behalf and audit IAP Service Providers.
TCA's audit program ensures that IAP Service Providers' satellite monitoring device or in-vehicle-unit and their systems, such as their back office systems, meet the functional and technical specification, and that vehicle monitoring and non-compliance reports are accurate and timely. Where engaged by TCA to conduct audits of IAP Service Providers, IAP Auditor’s report any findings to TCA and make any recommendations, or provide advice on required actions, as appropriate.
IAP Auditors that TCA may utilise from time to time to audit IAP Service Providers may form part of an IAP Audit Panel and will be independent to transport operators and IAP Service Providers.
