Cost of Certification for IAP Service Providers
IAP Service Providers will pay for their certification and on-going review and audit. The costs associated with these processes are payable by applicants and IAP Service Providers respectively, not by operators of vehicles participating in the IAP, who will negotiate any fees with their chosen IAP Service Provider.
To foster participation in the IAP in the initial years of its operation, TCA Members agreed to fund a rebate for applicants for IAP Service Provider certification. Given the success of the rebate in achieving its objective of 'fostering participation in the IAP' eligibility for this rebate closed on 30 May 2008. It is important to note that this deadline was for rebate eligibility only. Companies can still apply to TCA to become IAP Service Providers, but they will not be eligible for the rebate on certification.
