About Transport Certification Australia LimitedTransport Certification Australia Limited (TCA) is a public company whose purpose is to serve its Members and the community by supporting the development and implementation of the Intelligent Access Program (IAP) and ensuring that IAP Service Providers are certified and audited.
Our function is to:
- Ensure that IAP Service Providers are, where appropriate, certified, and audited. To achieve this purpose, the Company will:
- manage the certification and auditing regime for the IAP;
- certify, audit and cancel the certification of IAP Service Providers;
- select and coordinate IAP Auditors;
- be a focal point for the IAP;
- undertake communication and disseminate information in the IAP;
- monitor technological developments;
- liaise with government authorities and IAP Service Providers; and
- do all things incidental and related to the above actions including without limitation and as appropriate, borrow, lend and secure funds, operate bank accounts, and own or lease real and personal property.
- Undertake the management and general implementation of such further public-purpose road-transport-reform certification, auditing and like regimes as the Directors may from time to time agree to fund and unanimously approve.
- Undertake such incidental public-purpose projects as the Directors may from time to time, the Members having agreed the funding arrangements either between themselves or between themselves and another party/ies, unanimously approve.
